Just outside the city is the Hellbrunn Palace. A path lined with torches leads from the Hellbrunn parking lot to the palace, which is transformed into an oversized Advent calendar during Advent. The Advent market in Hellbrunn can be reached in only 10 to 15 minutes by car or bus.
If you cross the Salzach River after a visit to Salzburg’s Christmas Market, you will quickly reach Mirabell Palace. Between the palace and the gothic Andräkirche you will find the small but nice Christmas market at Mirabellplatz.
