From the Altstadthotel Kasererbräu, you can reach Salzburg’s best-known sights on foot. The big festival house (Großes Festspielhaus) is roughly a 5-minute walk from this four-star hotel. At 100 metres wide, its stage is one of the world’s largest. High society and press from all around the globe meet at the big festival house (Großes Festspielhaus) in summer.

The theatre with the smallest actors in Salzburg

Directly next to the Landestheatre, there is a theatre that enjoys a great international reputation for its exceptional performances despite the small stature of its actors: the Salzburg Marionette Theatre. For around a hundred years, these little puppets have been enchanting children with pieces by Mozart, Tschaikowsky and Shakespeare.
